The ancient holiday hamlet of Pian di Filetto
Pian di Filetto is a small recently restored hamlet which takes its name from its historical roots.
It is situated within large private and secure grounds with many fruit trees and a vegetable garden.
The hamlet is wonderfully situated, nestling in the hills overlooking the valley which surrounds the hill town of Poppi.
It is like your own little town, as you walk through the hamlet, uphill through the farm, you will reach the entrances to the various apartments – just like in a small village.
THE GROUNDS AND SWIMMING POOL
The private grounds of Pian di Filetto are are securely fenced and beautifully cared for. You will find fruit trees – cherry, apple, plum and olive trees and the estate is surrounded by 55 hectares of farmland which is owned by the same company – these fields are planted with corn, wheat and barley – a real picture postcard view.
THE LAYOUT
Pian di Filetto, is in fact a small renovated hamlet with its main street leading to the entrances of the individual apartments.
COMMUNAL AREAS
The swimming pool is situated in the grounds and there is a shaded area for enjoying a picnic and for protection on the hottest days.
Old cellars
The old cellars, carefully restored, welcome guests of the hamlet in atmosphere of other times.
